The OliEdu Foundation cordially invites you to join us at the Kraków City Council for a special event organized to mark World Prematurity Day – #fioletowelove for premature babies.
On November 17, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Kraków City Council headquarters, we’ll come together to show our support for the youngest hospital patients and their families. The event will take place under the honorary patronage of the Chairman of the Kraków City Council, Mr. Jakub Kosek, and will be hosted by Meloradio reporter Ms. Karolina Putlak.
On their way to the meeting, children from the kindergarten—dressed in purple—will march with purple balloons! For example, the Winnie the Pooh Municipal Preschool No. 45 in Kraków will set out from its preschool to join our gathering at 9:15 a.m.
During the event at RMK, we’ll be joined by, among others, the following doctors:
- Dr. Małgorzata Woś - Stefan Żeromski Specialist Hospital SPZOZ
- Dr. Beata Rzepecka Węglarz - Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital
The program includes, among other things, speeches by doctors and presentations prepared by students and teachers from Kraków’s kindergartens and Special Education Centers (SOSW), who will share how they celebrate World Prematurity Day as part of #fioletowelove
The #fioletowelove educational and health campaign, which originated in Kraków, has expanded over the past year to include hospitals in every province across Poland!

This initiative is under the honorary patronage of the Małopolska Regional Superintendent of Education and embodies educational, formative, and social values; it stands out from others, as seen on social media under the hashtags #fioletowelove #fioletowelove2025 thanks to the engagement and shares it has generated, as well as the 100% satisfaction rate among teachers who participated in the campaign—a finding confirmed by surveys conducted among them. The #fioletowelove initiative not only promotes the development of children and students and supports the school community, but also helps premature babies, their parents, and hospitals through its fundraising efforts.

After the official part of the event, we invite you at 11:00 a.m. to enjoy some sweet treats in the adjacent room in the UMK building, along with photos that a photographer will take for you. Of course, we encourage you to wear something with a touch of purple.
