The situation at the hospital in Nysa following the flood is dire! Opole Mayor Arkadiusz Wiśniewski was one of the first to serve as honorary patron of our educational and health campaign for newborns and premature babies, #fioletowelove2024.
Now the hospital in Nysa needs a wave of our support! We’ve received confirmation that the Mayor of Opole has designated the hospital in Nysa as the recipient of aid in the Opole Province.
The District Hospital in Nysa houses, among other units, a Neonatology Department with a Neonatal Pathology Subunit. It is at this hospital that approximately 800 newborns are born each year. The hospital cares for both healthy newborns from normal deliveries and many cases of neonatal pathologies and premature infants, whom we support so strongly through our efforts.
The scale of the flood damage is enormous, as demonstrated, among others, by Artur Kamiński, director of the District Hospital in Nysa.
We are not indifferent to these tragic events. As a foundation that supports healthcare initiatives and promotes assistance for newborns, we want to join the effort and take action.
Together, we can do even more, which is why we’re organizing a fundraiser for medical equipment for the Neonatology Ward at the hospital in Nysa!
Let’s show our support, solidarity, and compassion for the hospital’s youngest patients in the face of such a great tragedy by making a donation via the website:
