The OliEdu Foundation, as a co-organizer, invites you to participate in a debate on preventing and effectively responding to peer violence and cyberbullying in the school environment.
The event will begin with a meeting between experts and students from Secondary School No. 2 in Łańcut, during which the students will have the opportunity to discuss the real threats they face on a daily basis.
This will be followed by an open debate involving teachers, parents, and representatives of schools operated by the City of Łańcut, the Municipality of Łańcut, and Łańcut County. The meeting will provide a space to exchange experiences, discuss problems arising in schools, and seek practical solutions.
Main topics of the debate:
- forms and causes of violence against children and adolescents (including cyberbullying),
- civil and criminal liability of minors,
- the role of schools when violence is uncovered,
- the responsibilities of parents and guardians,
- effective violence prevention.
The debate will take the form of a panel discussion, with time allocated both for discussing key issues and for addressing problems raised directly by schools and participants. The event will conclude with an open Q&A session, allowing for active participation in the discussion.
The goal of the event is to strengthen cooperation between schools, parents, and institutions, raise legal awareness, and develop best practices for protecting children and youth from violence.
