Today marks the 4th anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine—four years of pain, suffering, and loss.
In a world of dynamic social change, international tensions, and civilizational challenges, the role played by a civic education foundation takes on special significance. Education today is not merely an add-on to social reality—it is its foundation. It is education that builds awareness, responsibility, and a willingness to act together.
As a civic education foundation, we believe that wise and systematic educational efforts are the key to building a strong, united, and democratic society. The OliEdu Civic Education Foundation supports Ukraine because we should act together:

Why are educational activities for young people so important today?
Young people are growing up in a world full of information, but one that is often lacking in space for dialogue and reflection. For this reason, educational activities for young people should:
- develop social and civic competencies,
- teach critical thinking and responsibility,
- foster empathy and solidarity,
- strengthen a sense of agency.
The OliEdu Civic Education Foundation creates programs that combine theory with practice. We focus on civic education—workshops that not only impart knowledge about democracy but, above all, teach how to actively participate in social life.
Social training and workshops: education in action
True civic education doesn’t end with a textbook, which is why we offer:
- social training sessions and workshops on communication and collaboration,
- training on democracy, human rights, and the mechanisms of the rule of law,
- projects integrating youth from diverse cultural backgrounds,
- programs that develop leadership skills.
Civic education is the practice of dialogue, shared decision-making, and trust-building. It is a space where young people learn that democracy is not just a political system—it is a daily responsibility toward the community.
Joint democratic and inclusive initiatives
The past four years have been a time of extraordinary courage, resilience, and determination on the part of the Ukrainian people in their fight for freedom, sovereignty, and their future.
These have also been four years of Poland’s solidarity with Ukraine. From the very first days of the war, Poles opened their homes and hearts, and the Polish government and civil society organizations launched a wide range of aid initiatives.
Poland supports Ukraine through a number of projects in the following areas:
- humanitarian,
- development,
- social, and educational.
We know how important it is to have a space for integration, dialogue, and building a shared future. As a civic education foundation, we support initiatives that bring together Polish and Ukrainian youth in a spirit of cooperation and mutual respect.
This support is accompanied by consistent efforts to promote Ukraine’s European integration—because Ukraine’s future lies in a united, strong, and united Europe.
Health Promotion and Socially Responsible Projects
Modern social activism is not limited solely to civic education. Equally important are health promotion and socially responsible projects that enhance the well-being of young people.
In our activities, we combine:
- health education,
- psychological support and prevention,
- creating a safe space for conversation,
- intergenerational and intercultural integration.
Because a healthy society is one that is aware of its rights, responsibilities, and values.
