Complex procedures and a dual-check system ensure the safety of the embryos. Every embryo that shows healthy developmental potential is preserved.
And when exactly did embryology emerge?
Its origins are linked to the invention of the microscope (17th century), but it did not begin to develop until the 19th century thanks to innovative research, such as genetic studies. Embryology thus emerged relatively late compared to other scientific fields.
Currently, embryology plays a key role in fields such as gynecology, obstetrics, and prenatal diagnostics.
