The OliEdu Foundation conducts research on the social and educational aspects of in vitro fertilization.
The goal of the research is to identify patients’ needs for education and social initiatives regarding in vitro fertilization.
We aim to better understand current needs so that we can take appropriate actions to address them.
We conduct both pilot studies and full-scale studies with a larger sample of respondents to better understand patients’ needs, expectations, and knowledge regarding in vitro fertilization. As part of our work, we support patient advocacy and health promotion initiatives, so we share our research findings at conferences.
The OliEdu Foundation for Civic Education also conducts scientific research to support health promotion and fertility preservation in the field of oncofertility.

Each of us knows someone in our circle who has had to face cancer...
According to the National Cancer Registry, 1.17 million Poles are living with cancer, which means that 440 people per 100,000 have been diagnosed with cancer! The diagnosis and the need to begin treatment come as a huge shock to patients.
This is compounded by another tragedy when these diseases affect young people who do not yet have families of their own. Often, patients are unaware that after undergoing cancer treatment, they will most likely no longer be able to have children!
This depends on factors such as:
- the type of cancer,
- the patient’s age,
- the type of treatment,
- and the intensity of treatment.
Oncofertility is a field of medicine that helps preserve patients’ fertility in the face of cancer.
