Infertility is classified by the WHO as a disease of civilization, which may affect at least several tens of millions of couples worldwide on a permanent or temporary basis. According to estimates, infertility affects nearly 3 million people in Poland!
Currently, there are 12 million children born through IVF worldwide. Every year in Europe, 350,000 children conceived through in vitro fertilization are born.

Where do the MYTHS about IVF come from?
From a lack of knowledge.

If it weren’t for advances in research, we wouldn’t have, for example, heart surgery, transplants, vaccinations, prenatal testing, and many effective therapies today...

• MYTH 1: In vitro fertilization leads to frequent illnesses in children.
• MYTH 2: A government program isn’t needed in all cities in Poland—after all, local governments pay for it.
• MYTH 3: IVF is an easier way to conceive a child.
• MYTH 4: IVF is used to select the baby’s gender.
• MYTH 5: I have children. Healthy children. IVF doesn’t apply to me.
