It is with great joy that we share with you a report on an extraordinary event that took place in the heart of Kraków—EYP Kraków 2025. This is an initiative that the OliEdu Civic Education Foundation and our President, Ewa Daros, supported as an official partner.
- EYP Kraków 2025 brought together young people from all corners of Europe and was not only an opportunity to learn and exchange experiences, but above all a reaffirmation of the importance of civic education and fostering democratic awareness.
Education is the foundation upon which we build the future of our community. It provides young people with the tools to participate meaningfully in public life, helps them understand the mechanisms of democracy, and teaches them how to be active citizens. The workshops on this topic, held during EYP Kraków 2025, were designed not only to impart knowledge but also to inspire action. Participants had the opportunity to explore topics such as civil rights, the role of democratic institutions, and ways to express their views and get involved in social issues.
The event featured inspiring panels, debates, and hands-on exercises. Ewa Daros, President of the OliEdu Foundation, also spoke at the opening gala, emphasizing the importance of personal initiative and teamwork as the keys to success! During the workshops, young people worked in international teams, which allowed them to better understand diversity and their shared commitment to the common good. The workshops, led by experienced trainers and experts, demonstrated how important dialogue and cooperation are for building a strong, democratic society. It is precisely such initiatives that shape future leaders who will be able to face challenges and act on behalf of others.
The Civic Education Foundation has long supported such initiatives because we believe that education and democracy are the pillars upon which a better future can be built. By participating in an event like EYP Kraków 2025, we strive to highlight the importance of young people’s role, their voices, and their engagement. It is up to them whether future generations will be able to defend freedom, rights, and democracy. Photos full of smiles, discussions, and collaborative work remind us how important it is for young people to have a space to express themselves, learn, and grow.
We encourage you to get involved in educational and civic activities as well! It is up to you whether the world will become a more open, just, and hopeful place.
