This photo from last year’s #fioletowelove gala walk speaks for itself—it was interesting, inspiring, and packed with fascinating facts about Kraków.

This year, we’re back with another attraction for participants of the #fioletowelove gala, which will take place on Monday (January 12, 2026) in Kraków!

Once again, we’ve prepared a free, two-hour walking tour for you with Krakonik guide Emil Bajorek through the most beautiful and mysterious corners of the very heart of Kraków!

Walking tour itinerary:

  • To start, the group will head to the famous Wawel Dragon monument, and then tour Wawel Hill—with its royal castle and cathedral, which have been at the heart of Polish history for centuries.
  • Next, participants will head down to the atmospheric Kanonicza Street to listen to the stories and legends of old Kraków amid the cobblestones of the Old Town.
  • Next, everyone will reach the Main Market Square with its majestic St. Mary’s Basilica, from whose tower the bugle call rings out every hour.
  • Along the way, you’ll see traces of medieval punishments for wayward townspeople.

If you love Kraków (or want to fall in love with it all over again)—this walk is for you. Join us and let’s experience it together!
