This is what the AGH Main Library in Kraków looked like yesterday during the St. Nicholas Day tournament!

There was no shortage of wonderful and talented St. Nicholas and St. Nicholasettes playing chess!

The high turnout is impressive, because chess is not just a game, but also a sport that develops the mind, concentration, and strategic thinking skills. This activity teaches patience, responsibility for one’s decisions, and healthy competition—values that are extremely important in the development of children and youth, which the OliEdu Foundation consistently supports through its activities.

Kudos for the excellent organization:

  • Małopolska Chess Association
  • “Szare Szeregi” Kraków School Sports Center
  • Krakow Culture Forum

Such initiatives demonstrate that chess is an important element of young people’s athletic education and an excellent tool for supporting their well-rounded development.

We’re glad we could be with you on this day!
